These are the KVM cables for remote management of computers using the Avocent/Vertiv MergePoint Unity and other KVMs including the MPU2014 MPU2032, MPU4032, and MPU8032.
This cable is the MPUIQ-VMCHS. It has one 15 pin VGA connector, and one USB connector for keyboard, mouse, and virtual devices such as USB drives or smart card reader connected to the KVM base unit. Please ensure your equipment can support the connections provided by this cable.
Please note you will also need standard Ethernet cabling (within the required length as defined by the KVM specifications, not included) to connect this dongle to your MergePoint Unity or other Avocent/Vertiv KVM. In a single rack, we recommend basic 3 or 6′ patch cables. However, you can run your connection over some distance if the equipment is located away from the KVM unit.
